In response to the growing need for digital transformation and sustainability in fleet operations, Fraikin Group, the largest Full Service Operation Lease company in Europe, is extending its partnership with Samsara, a leader in Connected Operations technology. This strategic move was officially announced on December 9, 2024, in a joint press release from London and Paris, signifying the importance of this collaboration in both promoting operational efficiency and supporting environmental goals. The decision to implement advanced AI technologies within their fleet follows a successful pilot phase where Samsara's AI Dash Cams, Asset Gateways, Door Monitors, Environmental Monitors, and Vehicle Gateways were deployed in over 5,000 vehicles in the UK. Now, Fraikin is preparing to integrate these technologies across a broader fleet of 60,000 vehicles across Europe. This advancement aims to enhance Fraikin's flagship fleet management platform, NeXa®, enabling them to deliver superior services to customers while optimizing fleet maintenance operations. By utilizing the real-time data and telematics provided by Samsara, Fraikin Group will gain enhanced capabilities for tracking vehicle health, performing maintenance, and improving operational efficiency. The integration of these systems will help fleet managers receive actionable insights that can decrease downtime, improve fuel efficiency, and streamline overall fleet operations, positioning Fraikin as a central player in the decarbonisation of transportation. Additionally, the partnership aligns perfectly with the increasing pressure on businesses to adopt more sustainable practices as they move toward zero-emission fleets. Through this collaboration, Fraikin will be equipped to assist its customers in transitioning to Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) and other alternative fuel solutions. Moreover, this technology will form a critical component of Fraikin's upcoming e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP) services, ensuring a seamless customer experience in sustainable transport. By merging NeXa® with Samsara’s capabilities, Fraikin aims to set a foundation for innovative future developments in the fleet management sector, with an emphasis on aiding customers in achieving their sustainability objectives while maintaining high standards of service.
