Ukrainian drone team destroys multiple Russian military targets on the front line

In Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region, Current Time correspondent Oleksiy Prodayvoda and cameraman Mykola Ryzhchenko accompanied a Ukrainian reconnaissance team from the 35th Marine Infantry Brigade on a mission to locate Russian military positions. This mission took place during the night as the team traveled in an armored vehicle filled with troops and supplies. Among the soldiers was Valeriy, an IT specialist who enlisted after Russia's full-scale invasion in 2022. He emphasized how studying has helped him adapt to the harsh conditions of warfare. The team utilized their Ukrainian-made Furia fixed-wing surveillance drones for reconnaissance purposes. In their recent missions, the crew reported successful hits on two Russian tanks, a multiple-launch rocket system, and an artillery gun, showcasing the increasing capabilities and tactics employed by Ukrainian forces in their defense against Russian aggression. With dawn breaking, the team readied their drones for launch. They faced potential threats from enemy reconnaissance drones, prompting them to seek cover in a dugout as they coordinated their operations. Once the situation stabilized, they prepared a drone for flight, ensuring its battery was charged and camera operational. Andriy skillfully launched the drone using an elastic catapult, marking the start of a series of reconnaissance flights for the day. While they received reports of damage to a Russian artillery position, they were uncertain about the effectiveness of their attack. Concluding their day in the field, the team expressed relief that all members had returned safely, reaffirming their commitment to the mission despite the persistent dangers.
