Two women die after incident in Snowdonia national park

In Wales, specifically in Nant Gwynant within Eryri National Park, two women tragically lost their lives following an incident reported on Wednesday night. Emergency services, including the Llanberis Mountain Rescue Team and North Wales Police, were dispatched to the scene around 9:30 PM after reports that one woman had been pulled from the water, while the second was still in the water at the Watkin Path pools. Despite the attempts of rescue teams, the woman still in the water was also pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and have appealed for witnesses who may have traversed the Watkin Path area earlier that evening to come forward.
