The victim, identified as Ramon Santiago, was traveling eastbound on East Hunting Park Avenue when he collided with a southbound ice cream truck. The force of the impact was severe enough to throw Santiago from his motorcycle, leading to critical injuries. Emergency responders transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after 11:45 p.m. The ice cream truck involved in the crash was a 1995 white Chevrolet G30, operated by a 17-year-old driver.
