- An FIR for loan fraud was filed by a resident of Kalamboli in Navi Mumbai.
- Chembur businessmen are charged in the fraud case.
- The investigation is ongoing into the alleged scam.
The Govandi Police have initiated a First Information Report (FIR) against Parvindersingh Jasbirsingh Vijan and his uncle, Jasbirsingh Vijan, both directors of Aceperkins Enterprises Pvt Ltd. They are accused of fraudulently securing a loan of Rs. 2 crore from the State Bank of India’s Chembur branch by using forged documents. The allegations stem from a family dispute involving the late Harnamsingh Vijan, who, along with family members, purchased a 1,618-square-metre plot of land in Chembur in 1984 under the Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) Act. Amarjitsingh, the son of Harnamsingh Vijan, discovered in June 2021 that a family settlement agreement had been made among the Vijan family members. He claims that Parvindersingh and Simrat Kaur, descendants of the family, established a new company, Angad Automotives Private Limited, in 2001. Parvindersingh applied for a substantial loan to fund this venture, which included a bank guarantee and cash credit. In his police statement, Amarjitsingh detailed that the loan application included signatures from several family members, including his deceased father, Harnamsingh, who passed away in 1997. He alleges that the signature of his father was forged to facilitate the loan. Furthermore, he claims that the land in Chembur was mortgaged using these allegedly forged documents, raising serious concerns about the legitimacy of the transactions involved.
