Taiwan government showcases innovation in sports technology exhibition

These include a baseball tracking system designed to assist umpires by providing comprehensive data for decision-making, and light mechanisms that help track and field runners maintain their pacing during events. Additionally, the council is collaborating with various governmental bodies, including the Ministries of Economic Affairs, Education, and Health and Welfare, as well as the Taiwan Institute of Sports Science in Kaohsiung City, to further promote the sports technology initiative, translating into tangible health benefits and a boost for the sports industry in Taiwan. The ongoing exhibition, which runs until May 14, 2025, offers the public a chance to interact with artificial intelligence devices aimed at improving health outcomes. Among these devices are exercise monitoring systems and detection systems that are specifically designed to enhance the quality of life for elder populations.
