Remembrance events honor over 1,200 victims of Hamas attack in Israel

Survivors and families of victims have gathered to honor those lost while also reflecting on the ongoing conflict. Rachel Goldberg Polin poignantly expressed her personal grief over the loss of her son, Hersh, who was killed during the initial attack. Her words highlight the profound pain of losing a child and emphasize the unique suffering that comes with such a loss, a sentiment echoed by many attending these remembrance events. Despite profound sadness, there remains hope among many for potential peace negotiations and the release of hostages.
