This vessel employs advanced solar technology not only for its onboard systems but also for its main propulsion, combining traditional diesel-electric power with renewable energy sources. The design incorporates 192 solar panels capable of generating up to 35 kilowatts under optimal conditions, effectively supplying electricity to the ship's propulsion system. This innovative approach permits the ship to operate solely on solar energy during shorter trips when weather conditions are favorable, thus reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
