Supriya Sule, the Working President of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar), is set to embark on a tour of north Maharashtra from August 17 to 19. This visit will cover key districts including Jalgaon, Dhule, and Nashik, as part of the party's preparations for the upcoming Assembly elections. Senior NCP (SP) leader Satish Patil emphasized the party's recognition of strong support for Sharad Pawar in the region, highlighting the need for guidance among party workers and officials. Sule's itinerary includes a series of meetings and events aimed at mobilizing support. She will kick off her tour in Jalgaon on Saturday morning with a women's meeting at Sambhaji Natyagruha. A notable political contest in the Jalgaon Rural constituency will see former minister Gulabrao Deokar challenging the incumbent Guardian Minister Gulabrao Patil, drawing significant attention. Sule will also host additional women's meetings in Amalner to bolster support for Deokar. On Sunday, Sule will address a gathering in Shindkheda and engage with women and party office bearers in Dhule City. The day will conclude with a meeting of party workers in Chandwad, Nashik district, where she will stay overnight. The following day, she will inaugurate a new health sub-centre in Jalke Dindori and release a book in Nashik before returning to Pune, marking a strategic effort to strengthen the party's presence in the region.
