Dog Lex Reunites with Family After Being Stolen and Found 200 Miles Away

In January 2024, a dog named Lex was stolen outside a supermarket in Antwerp, Belgium. Lex was tied to a railing by his owner's father, Constantin Munteanu, while he went inside to buy flowers. Following the incident, the local police did not take action, prompting Lex's family, including owner Florentina Munteanu, to take matters into their own hands. They launched a search campaign on social media. Their efforts finally bore fruit when French police discovered Lex in Paris, 200 miles from where he was taken, after 300 days. The authorities recovered the dog from a homeless man, allowing for a long-awaited reunion between Lex and his family.
