On September 15, 2024, Hilton San Francisco Union Square will reopen its iconic Cityscape Bar, located on the 46th floor of the hotel. This bar, known as the tallest in San Francisco, offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the city and has been reimagined to reflect the beauty of the cosmos. The redesign features original mid-century modern artwork that was previously hidden, showcasing the hotel's rich history since its opening in 1964. The artwork, titled 'The Celestial Sisters: Guardians of the Night Sky,' includes five goddesses—Selena, Astraea, Eos, Aurora, and Nyx—each symbolizing different aspects of the night sky. This artistic revival aims to create a magical atmosphere for guests, enhancing their experience at the bar. The general manager, Peter Hart, emphasized the importance of honoring the artwork's origins while providing a fresh perspective. In celebration of the reopening, Cityscape is offering a special package called the Cityscape Weekend Escape, which invites guests to enjoy the newly designed space and its unique cocktails. Signature drinks inspired by the goddesses, such as the 'Harvest Moon' and 'Crowned Goddess,' are crafted to reflect the enchanting themes of the bar. The reopening of Cityscape not only revitalizes a historic venue but also reinforces Hilton San Francisco Union Square's commitment to providing exceptional hospitality and memorable experiences for visitors. Guests can make reservations through the hotel’s website or by phone, ensuring they can partake in this unique offering.
