Iowa police rescue 29 cats from van during heat wave

The situation was exacerbated by the presence of the van's owner, 64-year-old Andres Enrique Guilartes Martinez, who was also found inside the vehicle. Martinez was subsequently arrested and charged with three counts of animal neglect.
