Stidham to Start for Broncos in Preseason Game

In a strategic move, Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton has announced that Jarrett Stidham will start at quarterback for the team's upcoming game against the Indianapolis Colts. Payton emphasized the importance of experience in his decision, stating that rookie Bo Nix will take the helm next week when the Broncos face the Green Bay Packers. This decision marks a significant moment for Nix, who was selected 12th overall in the NFL draft and is vying for the starting position. In addition to quarterback discussions, Payton addressed the status of defensive lineman Eyioma Uwazurike, who recently returned from a yearlong gambling suspension. Payton deemed it too early for Uwazurike to participate in a game, prioritizing the player's health and recovery.
