Bulgaria invests in modernizing its air force with fighter jet acquisition

Bulgaria, one of Europe's less economically robust nations, has made a significant advancement in modernizing its military by purchasing eight F-16 Block 70 Fighting Falcons from Lockheed Martin. The first two jets were officially handed over in late January 2025, indicating a new era for the Bulgarian Air Force.
