In Nabatieh, southern Lebanon, a civil engineer named Mohammed recounted the horrors of an Israeli air strike that destroyed a house in his village. The strike occurred without warning, resulting in the death of a policeman inside the targeted residence. During a tour of the Nabih Berri government hospital, which has seen a reduced workforce due to the ongoing conflict, patients and healthcare workers expressed their determination to continue providing care despite the risks posed by continued air strikes. Casualties continued to arrive at the hospital, most of whom were civilians, indicating that the strikes are predominantly targeting non-combatants. The facility, which normally has 170 beds, is currently operating with a skeleton staff and has only 25 patients, highlighting the strain on medical resources amid the crisis.
