Big rig crashes and rolls down hillside on I-15 Freeway

In the United States, a single-vehicle accident involving a big rig occurred on November 25, 2024, at around 12:15 p.m. The incident took place just south of the 138 Freeway and north of Oakie Flats Road in San Bernardino County, California. The California Highway Patrol reported that the semi-truck collided with the center divider on the southbound side of the freeway, subsequently crashing through a guardrail. Following the impact, the truck rolled approximately 500 feet down a slope before coming to rest on its side. Video footage captured at the scene depicted firefighters assisting the driver up the hillside after the crash. At this point, it remains unclear whether the driver sustained any serious injuries from the collision. As a result of the accident, a SigAlert was issued, leading to the closure of the No. 3 and No. 4 lanes of the southbound I-15 Freeway until further notice, causing traffic delays in the area.
