Oasis Releases Alternative Version of Sad Song for 30th Anniversary

Oasis commemorated the 30th anniversary of their iconic debut album, *Definitely Maybe*, on Wednesday by unveiling a rare alternative version of the track "Sad Song," performed by lead vocalist Liam Gallagher. Fans can look forward to a limited-edition blue cassette and digital formats, all featuring the 2014 remastered version of the album. Despite the celebratory atmosphere, tensions remain between the Gallagher brothers, as Liam revealed that he has not spoken to Noel since their infamous backstage altercation in Paris in 2009. Liam recently completed a sold-out tour celebrating the album's anniversary, during which he extended an olive branch to Noel for a reunion, which was declined. Speculation about a potential reunion was ignited in May when Oasis teased fans with a cryptic social media post, but many were left disappointed when it was revealed to be a re-release rather than a tour announcement.
