Traffic & Mobility Consultants Acquires Propel Engineering

Traffic & Mobility Consultants (TMC), a prominent transportation planning and traffic engineering firm, has acquired Propel Engineering, a civil engineering firm based in West Palm Beach, Florida. This acquisition is part of Grovecourt Capital Partners' strategy to enhance TMC's capabilities in Florida's transportation engineering market. Propel, founded in 2013, specializes in highway design, traffic analysis, and structural design, primarily serving the public sector, including the Florida Department of Transportation. The acquisition follows TMC's previous purchases of O'Rourke Engineering & Planning and Lincks & Associates earlier in 2024, marking Propel as the third addition to TMC's portfolio. The CEO of TMC, Mohammed Abdallah, emphasized that this partnership will accelerate growth and expand TMC's service offerings, leveraging Propel's established customer relationships and technical expertise. Maj Alam, the Founder and President of Propel Engineering, expressed enthusiasm about the merger, highlighting the potential for tackling larger projects and enhancing service delivery to clients.
