Elon Musk's xAI aims for a tenfold expansion of its supercomputer, challenging tech giants

The supercomputer, built in just three months, operates with more than 100,000 interconnected Nvidia GPUs and is set to incorporate over one million GPUs in its expansion. Currently, OpenAI holds a nearly $14 billion partnership with Microsoft, granting them extensive access to computing power, while Anthropic has received an $8 billion investment from Amazon along with new AI chip clusters.
