Orcas engage in unprecedented social behavior in the wild

In October 2024, a significant moment was recorded in the Norwegian Fjords when nature tourists witnessed two orcas partaking in a unique behavior previously unseen in the wild. The footage captured these two killer whales in a prolonged interaction that lasted nearly two minutes, where they appeared to be 'kissing' by nibbling on each other's tongues. This unusual occurrence was observed during a snorkeling expedition, highlighting a fascinating aspect of orca social interaction.
