Costco has long been recognized as a go-to destination for affordable bulk snacks, and a recent analysis by CouponBirds has unveiled the store's top 50 most popular snacks based on customer reviews. Topping the list are Utah Truffles’ Dark Chocolate Truffles with Sea Salt, which received an impressive five-star rating from 91.99% of reviewers. Priced at $36.99 for two 16-ounce packs, this indulgent treat highlights the strong preference for chocolate among Costco shoppers. Following closely behind are Godiva Dark Chocolate Ganache Hearts, with a 91.75% approval rating, and Nutella & Go’s Hazelnut & Cocoa Spread, which garnered 90.88%. The rankings were determined by analyzing over 145,000 customer ratings, ensuring that only items with at least 100 reviews were considered. Notably, Kirkland’s products emerged as the most popular in the “nuts or seeds” category, while the G2G bar was recognized as the top snack bar. In the cookie and chip categories, Lotus Biscoff Cookies and Cheetos Crunchy were crowned the favorites, with ratings of 88.04% and 86.00%, respectively. Interestingly, no traditional potato chip brands made the list, indicating a shift in consumer preferences. The survey also revealed a tendency for shoppers to favor international brands, as seen with Biscoff surpassing Oreos, which ranked 50th. This diverse mix of snacks showcases both well-known brands and Costco’s private label offerings, according to financial analyst Andy Cooper.
