On October 15, 2024, LONGi launched its Hi-MO X10 solar module at the Rolex Shanghai Masters in China. This new product features HPBC 2.0 cell technology, which represents a significant advancement in the company's bifacial cell (BC) technology. The Hi-MO X10 is designed for the global distributed market, boasting a maximum power output of 670W and an efficiency of 24.8%, surpassing mainstream TOPCon modules by over 30W. The HPBC 2.0 technology builds on the previous HPBC 1.0, achieving breakthroughs in cell substrates and manufacturing processes, resulting in a cell efficiency exceeding 26.6%. The module's innovative design includes a 0BB structure that eliminates grid lines, enhancing energy generation and aesthetic appeal. Additionally, the Hi-MO X10 addresses common issues faced by solar panels, such as shading and hotspots, with a unique soft breakdown design that minimizes power loss.
