Nepal is currently hosting the 18th edition of the Indo-Nepal Joint Military Exercise, known as Surya Kiran, which commenced on December 31, 2024, and is set to conclude on January 13, 2025. Approximately 700 personnel from both armies are participating at Saljhandi, Nepal, where they are undergoing rigorous training to enhance operational capabilities.
