A 57-year-old woman, Anita Rose, has died in hospital following a serious attack while walking her dog in Brantham, Suffolk. Ms. Rose was discovered unconscious on a track near a railway line and sewage works on Wednesday morning. Despite efforts to save her, she succumbed to her injuries at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge on Sunday. In connection with the incident, a 45-year-old man from the Ipswich area, initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, has been re-arrested on suspicion of murder. Additionally, a 37-year-old woman was taken into custody on Saturday for allegedly handling stolen goods. Police have since recovered Ms. Rose's missing mobile phone, which is believed to be linked to the case.
