VinFast showcases electric SUVs at Montreal show 2025

In Canada, VinFast announced its participation in the Montreal Electric Vehicle Show (MEVS) 2025, which is set to occur from May 2 to May 4, 2025, at IGA Stadium. This marks the second appearance of VinFast at the MEVS, reflecting its strategy to enhance visibility and commitment to the electric vehicle market in North America. The company plans to showcase its popular electric SUV models at booth #364, including the compact VF 6, the midsize VF 8, and the flagship full-size VF 9. These electric vehicles are designed to meet diverse consumer needs with a focus on modern design and advanced technology. Important elements of this showcase include hands-on test drives available for attendees to experience the performance and features of its models, particularly highlighting the luxurious aspects and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) integrated into both the VF 8 and VF 9. The VF 8, with a wheelbase of 2,950 mm and equipped with a dual electric motor, delivers impressive performance with 402 horsepower. It also boasts an EPA estimated range of up to 412 km, presenting itself as an optimal option for varying driving conditions. On the other hand, the VF 9 is particularly suited for families with its spacious interior designed for up to seven passengers and boasts an EPA range of 531 km. Robert Muller, Deputy CEO of VinFast Canada, expressed excitement about returning to the MEVS, noting the company's successful previous year in Canada and emphasizing the opportunity for drivers to engage with their innovative electric vehicles during the event. The presence at the MEVS highlights VinFast's ongoing commitment to advancing sustainable mobility solutions not only in Canada but on a global scale.
