A 24-year-old Riverside County man, Bryan Josue Flores Valdez, has been arrested for allegedly exposing himself to minors, leading to serious new charges while he was already out on bail for a previous child annoyance case. The arrest occurred on August 7 at his residence following an extensive investigation by the Riverside County Child Exploitation Team, as confirmed by the Riverside County District Attorney's Office. Valdez was previously facing three misdemeanor counts of child annoyance, which involved incidents of him exposing himself near elementary schools in the Corona area. The ongoing investigation prompted the DA's Bureau of Investigation to gather additional evidence, ultimately resulting in his recent arrest. In light of the new findings, Valdez has been charged with 13 felonies, including sexual assault of a minor aged 10 or younger, as well as charges related to the production, possession, and distribution of child sexual abuse material. These serious allegations significantly escalate the legal consequences he faces. Valdez made his initial court appearance on Monday and is set for arraignment on August 23. Prosecutors have indicated that if convicted on all charges, he could be sentenced to life in prison, highlighting the severity of the offenses and the ongoing concern for child safety in the community.
