Search Continues for Missing Woman in Doncaster

Authorities in Doncaster are intensifying their search for 66-year-old Christine Stenson, who has been missing for nearly two weeks. The last confirmed sighting of Stenson was captured on CCTV on August 12 at 5:57 PM, as she walked down Cantley Lane. Prior to this, she had been dropped off at a residence on Hawke Road around 5:05 PM, where she reportedly spent less than five minutes before leaving on foot. Following her departure, Stenson was seen heading towards Rose Hill Cemetery, but her whereabouts after that remain unknown. In response to her disappearance, South Yorkshire Police have mobilized a range of resources, including specialist search teams, drones, search dogs, off-road bike units, and mounted officers. A National Police Air Service helicopter equipped with thermal imaging technology has also been deployed in the search efforts. Despite these extensive measures, police have yet to locate Stenson. The force has stated that investigations are ongoing, with officers conducting thorough CCTV reviews and house-to-house inquiries. They have urged local residents near Cantley Lane to check their home surveillance footage from August 12 for any potential leads. Christine Stenson is described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, white, with long grey hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a black floral vest top and orange shorts.
