Dentist Faces Charges for Bathroom Camera

WEIRTON, W.Va. — Dr. Jeremy Michael Crow, a 45-year-old dentist from Washington, Pennsylvania, has been charged with 39 counts of misdemeanor criminal invasion of privacy after a concealed camera was allegedly discovered in the employee bathroom of his dental office. Crow turned himself in to the Weirton Police Department on Monday following the allegations. According to Police Chief Charlie Kush, the investigation began when an employee reported finding the camera hidden inside a water bottle in the staff restroom in May. Subsequent inquiries revealed that at least 10 female employees had encountered the same device. However, Kush noted that there was no evidence to suggest that cameras were placed in the office's public bathroom. Crow's attorney, Robert McCoid, expressed confidence in his client's innocence, stating that the government's case is "thin soup at best." He emphasized their eagerness to challenge the prosecution's evidence in court and expressed optimism for Crow's acquittal. Despite the charges, McCoid confirmed that Crow intends to continue his dental practice. Following his arraignment, Crow was released on a $20,000 bond. The case has raised significant concerns within the community, as Weirton is located approximately 35 miles west of Pittsburgh, drawing attention to issues of privacy and trust in professional settings.
