Ewan McGregor, 53, was recently seen driving his vintage yellow car while towing a motorcycle trailer, hinting at his latest adventure with fellow actor Charley Boorman. The duo is set to star in a new 10-episode series on Apple TV, which chronicles their journey across a 10,000-mile route on refurbished vintage motorcycles. The trip begins in McGregor's home in Perthshire, Scotland, and takes them through Scandinavia, Eastern and Central Europe, before concluding back in London and Scotland. This new series follows their previous successful collaborations, including the 2007 sequel "Long Way Down," which took them from Scotland to South Africa, and "Long Way Up" in 2020, where they traveled from South America to Central America. McGregor shared that the idea for this latest trip emerged during a challenging segment of "Long Way Up," where he and Boorman began to dream about another journey to distract themselves from the difficult terrain. The pair's recent travels included a crossing of the North Sea to Scandinavia, reaching the Arctic Circle, and exploring the Baltics and continental Europe. Their adventure culminated in a two-month journey that ended with a sail over the English Channel. Fans have spotted the duo along the way, including a memorable encounter in Amsterdam and another in Norway, where they posed for photos with admirers, showcasing their camaraderie and enthusiasm for the open road.
