In the UK, horse racing trainer Nicky Henderson has expressed optimism regarding Constitution Hill's potential participation in the Christmas Hurdle after overcoming a recent bout of lameness. The popular racehorse, who was deemed a superstar in the world of hurdling, faced an issue with one of its legs following a gallop at Newbury. While the excitement among fans surged for Constitution Hill's return to racing, he had only raced once in the previous winter. As a cautious measure, Henderson decided to withdraw Constitution Hill from participating in the Fighting Fifth Hurdle that was scheduled for this weekend. Instead, Sir Gino, another of Henderson's competitors, will take his place at the race in Newcastle. Henderson has shared that Sir Gino is in great shape and does not require extensive preparation prior to the race, which adds to the anticipation building within the stable ahead of the Christmas Hurdle at Kempton on Boxing Day.
