MIAMI - Although the summer games in Paris have concluded, the spirit of the city can still be felt at Pastis Miami, a new dining destination that mirrors its New York counterpart. Anthony Ramonas, Director of STARR Restaurants, highlights the restaurant's design, stating, "Inside is a carbon copy of everything," which has led to many patrons experiencing a sense of déjà vu. However, he notes that the Miami location's expansive terrace adds a unique charm, enhancing the overall dining experience. A hallmark of Pastis is its commitment to exceptional service. Ramonas emphasizes the personal touch that guests receive from the moment they enter, aiming to establish a lasting presence in Miami's dining scene. "We're not looking to be that Miami flash in the pan," he asserts, expressing a desire for the restaurant to thrive for decades, similar to its New York predecessor. Currently, Pastis is participating in the Miami Spice program, offering a three-course menu for $45, which Ramonas describes as an "incredible value." This initiative allows diners to sample a variety of dishes, including the standout French Onion Soup, known for its rich blend of three cheeses, and the creamy Spaghetti Limone. The restaurant's famous Cheeseburger, featuring two smash patties and crispy pommes frites, is also a must-try. Open year-round, Pastis Miami serves lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch, with the Miami Spice menu available until the end of September, inviting locals and visitors alike to indulge in its culinary offerings.
