This expansive facility will feature a 100,000 square-foot indoor waterpark, which includes a wave pool, lazy river, and various pools designed for both adults and children. An outdoor adventure lagoon is scheduled to open in May, offering additional slides and an inflatable obstacle course, along with a unique fly pool that allows guests to zipline over the water before dropping in. In addition to the waterpark, the resort will house a family entertainment center, event spaces, and a dozen dining options ranging from a modern taqueria to a smokehouse. This diverse culinary offering aims to cater to a wide range of tastes, enhancing the overall visitor experience. The resort's design is intended to complement the First Americans Museum, emphasizing cultural connections and enriching the local tourism landscape. The opening of OKANA Resort is part of a broader initiative to attract visitors to the Oklahoma River area, which already features recreational activities such as whitewater rafting and kayaking at Riversport Rapids. The resort's strategic location and amenities are expected to draw families and adventure seekers alike, contributing to the economic growth of the region. To celebrate the opening, the resort is launching a “First Wave” booking promotion, offering significant discounts for early reservations. This initiative is designed to encourage visitors to experience the new attractions and enjoy the unique offerings of the resort throughout the summer season.
