Sweetwater police apprehend suspected gang member following theft incident

In a recent incident in Florida, Sweetwater Police arrested Abrahan Dejesus Mavo-Bracho, who was allegedly connected to the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua, after he stole $1,100 worth of Nike merchandise. Mavo-Bracho was previously apprehended by U.S. Customs and Border Protection for entering the country illegally. Following this, he was placed on a metal ankle monitor but removed it and fled to south Florida. The police regard him as a fugitive and conveyed to CBS Miami that the tattoo on his arm linked him to a known gang, although he denies any affiliation. The federal authorities have been notified about his capture due to the ongoing security concerns around this notorious gang.
