Acer Reports August Revenue Growth in Taipei

Acer Inc. reported its consolidated revenues for August 2024 at NT$22.82 billion, marking a 5.24% increase compared to the same month last year. This achievement signifies the company's 14th consecutive month of year-on-year growth. For the year-to-date, revenues reached NT$172.28 billion, reflecting a 14.8% growth, with the personal computers and display sectors experiencing a notable 16.3% increase in the same period. The company has been actively diversifying its business operations, with revenues from non-computer and display sectors contributing significantly to its overall performance. In August, these sectors accounted for 26.1% of total revenues, while for the year-to-August, this figure rose to 28.1%. This strategic expansion is indicative of Acer's commitment to evolving its business model and adapting to market demands. Acer's subsidiaries also reported positive revenue growth, with Acerpure Inc. and Acer ITS Inc. achieving year-on-year increases of 11.7% and 23.0% respectively in August. These results highlight the effectiveness of Acer's incubation strategy for its public subsidiaries, which is aimed at fostering innovation and growth in various sectors. At the recent next@acer global press conference in Berlin, Acer unveiled new products, including AI-powered laptops and gaming innovations. The introduction of Genmotion.AI by Winking Studios showcases Acer's focus on integrating advanced technologies into its offerings, further enhancing user experiences in gaming and productivity.
