Pennsylvania State Police responded to a call about a burglary in progress at a residence on Mae West Road around 11:30 p.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered the suspect, identified as 62-year-old David Luczak from Cleveland, had sustained two gunshot wounds to the face. According to police reports, the homeowner confronted Luczak after he attempted to enter the home. When the intruder refused to leave, the homeowner retrieved a firearm and fired multiple shots, striking Luczak twice. Emergency medical services were called to the scene, and Luczak was treated before being airlifted to Ruby Memorial Hospital, where he is currently listed in stable condition.
