Wizz Air connects Glasgow to iconic Italian cities with new flights

Set to commence on October 27, 2025, these new services will provide Scottish travelers with convenient access to Italy's vibrant metropolitan areas. The Rome route aims to showcase the historical attractions and cultural significance of the Italian capital, while the Milan route will connect Scotland to the fashion capital of Italy, known for its exquisite shopping and stylish ambiance. With flights slated to run three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Wizz Air is focusing on making these routes an affordable option for passengers, with introductory fares starting at £26.99. This expansion represents Wizz Air’s broader strategy to consolidate its presence in Scotland, making international travel more accessible for local residents. In tandem with the new Glasgow routes, Wizz Air has plans to launch additional routes from its London Luton base, fostering an expansive network of flights to popular tourist destinations in Spain. From March 29, 2026, travelers will have the opportunity to fly to cities like Barcelona, Valencia, and Seville.
