Aurora, CO – In a series of violent incidents early Sunday morning, one person was shot dead, another was stabbed, and a third individual suffered gunshot wounds but managed to drive themselves to the hospital. The Aurora Police Department (APD) responded to two separate shootings, one occurring at a house party and the other at a local nightclub. The first incident took place around 1:20 a.m. at a residence on East 4th Avenue, where an argument escalated into violence. During the altercation, one man was shot multiple times and is currently in critical condition at a local hospital. Another man sustained non-life-threatening injuries from a stabbing. Authorities have detained one individual in connection with this incident, but the identities of the victims and the suspect remain undisclosed as the investigation continues. Shortly after, at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers were called to the Las Adelitas Night Club on East Colfax Avenue. There, they discovered a victim with fatal gunshot wounds in the parking lot, who was pronounced dead at the scene. A 34-year-old man, also shot, managed to drive himself to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive. The deceased victim has not yet been identified, and police are actively working to gather more information regarding potential suspects in both cases.
