The construction of Palm Jebel Ali is set to resume, marking a significant development for both the Belgian and Dubai economies. Nakheel, the property company behind the project, has partnered with Jan De Nul Group, a renowned Belgian firm, to undertake essential earthworks and create artificial beaches, which are crucial for the island's design. The first eight branches of the island are expected to be completed by early 2025, paving the way for further construction and investment opportunities. This milestone is vital for attracting new investors and builders, as it signals the removal of previous constraints that halted progress during the 2008 economic crisis. The new island will cover an area of 13.4 square kilometers and feature 91 kilometers of beaches, along with plans for around 80 hotels and entertainment venues. The completion of these branches will not only advance the project but also demonstrate the realization of Nakheel's ambitious vision for Palm Jebel Ali.
