In a significant advancement for medical education in India, Parminder Chopra, Chairman and Managing Director of Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC), inaugurated a cutting-edge Anatomy laboratory at the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras). The facility, funded by a ₹16.5 crore Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) grant from PFC, aims to enhance the learning experience for students in the Department of Medical Sciences and Technology. The newly established lab is designed to support the innovative BS Degree Programme in Medical Sciences & Engineering, integrating advanced technology into undergraduate medical education. This facility is notable for being the first of its kind in India, featuring a dry Anatomy lab that adheres to medical college standards.
