In September 2025, human remains were discovered in the trunk of a Tesla that belonged to David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd, a rising musician. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) responded to reports of a foul smell coming from an abandoned car at a Hollywood tow yard. Upon investigation, they discovered the body stuffed inside a bag, leading to the identification of the victim as 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The Riverside Sheriff's Department had reported that Hernandez had been missing since April 5, 2024, after leaving her home in Lake Elsinore, California.
