Ali Ghaffari Founded Divine Mercy Academy to Serve His Community

Ali Ghaffari, a former Lt. Commander of the U.S. Navy, established Divine Mercy Academy in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, with its first class starting in 2019. Initially opening its doors to just 19 students with three teachers, the school has grown to accommodate 148 students and nearly 30 educators. Ghaffari's vision for the academy stems from his desire to provide an excellent education while fostering character development in students. He emphasizes critical thinking and a commitment to loving God and neighbors. After two decades in military service, Ghaffari views his educational endeavor as an extension of serving his community and fulfilling the needs of local families seeking quality education for their children.
