FANUC and local leaders promote robotics growth in Michigan

Mayor Barnett emphasized that Rochester Hills surpasses other Michigan cities in terms of robotics production. Priscilla Perkins, president and CEO of the non-profit Accounting Aid Society, along with Sonia Plata, director of the Flagstar Foundation, discussed the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. This program provides free tax preparation services to individuals and small businesses with low- to moderate-income levels and aims to help them with back taxes or IRS-related issues. In 2024, Flagstar Foundation significantly contributed to these community efforts by awarding $630,000 in grants to support VITA programs nationwide, demonstrating a commitment to helping individuals achieve financial stability.
