Luka Doncic, along with fellow Jordan Brand athletes Jayson Tatum, Zion Williamson, and Paulo Banchero, is currently on a tour in China as part of the inaugural China Family Tour. The tour commenced in Shanghai, where the players engaged with fans, visited the Nike Shanghai campus, and enjoyed boat rides along The Bund, a historic waterfront area. The emotional connection with fans was highlighted by a touching moment when a fan expressed her dreams coming true after meeting Doncic. During their time in China, the athletes will also explore various cultural landmarks and participate in youth basketball camps. A significant stop on their itinerary includes the Jordan World of Flight Beijing Sanlitun, a large retail store dedicated to the Jordan Brand. Additionally, they will attend the finals of the Next Stop Dongdan streetball tournament, further promoting basketball among the youth. Ari Chen, the Jordan Brand VP and GM of Greater China, expressed excitement about the tour, emphasizing the growth of basketball and the Jordan Brand in China. Luka Doncic's relationship with the Jordan Brand began in 2019 with a multi-year agreement. His previous visit to China as a rookie with the Dallas Mavericks in 2018 during the NBA China Games laid the groundwork for his ongoing engagement with Chinese fans and the basketball community.
