Jefferson County sheriff confirms no prior warnings before Evergreen school shooting

By 12:27:22 PM, the first unit arrived on the scene, and by 12:30:29 PM, deputies confronted the gunman at gunpoint. The school resource officer, who was supposed to be on campus, had left for Conifer High School just before the shooting occurred, prompting questions about the response during the incident. The Sheriff's office also investigated past reports regarding the shooter and confirmed that there were no records of prior complaints or warnings about the suspect, ruling out previous notifications to Safe2Tell.
