Story

On September 14, 2024, Saramonic unveiled its WiTalk9 Series, a state-of-the-art wireless intercom headset system, during a product launch event at IBC 2024 in Amsterdam. This innovative system allows for full-duplex communication among up to nine users without the need for a central hub, significantly enhancing teamwork efficiency, especially in environments like sports event production. The WiTalk9 Series can also be wired to cascade four systems, accommodating as many as 30 users simultaneously. A standout feature of the WiTalk9 Series is Saramonic's ClearTalk™ Technology, which utilizes a three-mic array and advanced noise cancellation to ensure clear communication in noisy settings, even with sound levels reaching 130 dB SPL. This technology is particularly beneficial for production teams working in loud environments, allowing them to maintain focus and coordination. Additionally, the WiTalk9 Series offers connectivity options for remote communication, enabling users to link their headsets to phones and computers. This capability facilitates seamless integration with online meeting platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams, effectively breaking down geographical barriers and allowing teams to collaborate from different locations. For smaller teams, Saramonic introduced the WiTalk9 SE Series, which supports up to five users and can be expanded to nine with two cascaded systems. This flexibility, along with competitive pricing ranging from $319 to $1349, positions Saramonic as a leader in the wireless intercom market, appealing to a wide range of users seeking to enhance their communication capabilities.
