Uttar Pradesh: 20-Year-Old Student Kidnapped & Molested By Neighbor In Krishna Nagar Area, Police Launch Investigation

In a troubling incident in Lucknow, India, a 20-year-old college student became a victim of kidnapping and molestation by her neighbor, identified as Imran Khan. The event unfolded on a Monday morning when the victim was on her way to college. The accused, along with an unknown individual, entered the same auto-rickshaw as the victim, which led to a drastic change in her route against her will. Once inside the vehicle, the accused coerced the auto driver to divert from the original path and took the victim to his residence. It was there that the victim was subjected to molestation. The auto driver and the accomplice fled the scene, leaving the victim in a vulnerable situation. However, she managed to escape from the accused's grasp. Following her escape, the victim promptly reported the incident to the Krishna Nagar police station, where she lodged a formal complaint. The police acted swiftly, registering a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code related to kidnapping and molestation. Authorities, including the Assistant Commissioner of Police, have stated that teams are being deployed to locate and arrest the accused.
