Hong Kong electronics fair showcases global tech innovations and solutions

Hong Kong is set to host the 3rd InnoEX and the 21st Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Spring Edition) concurrently from April 13 to April 16, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The events aim to highlight Hong Kong's potential in becoming a leading hub for innovation and technology (I&T). With more than 2,800 exhibitors from 29 countries and regions, the exhibitions will present cutting-edge solutions across five significant technology areas: low-altitude economy, artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, cybersecurity, and smart mobility. Each day of the four-day InnoEX will be dedicated to specific themes, allowing participants to delve deeply into various technology sectors. The first day will focus on the low-altitude economy, presenting opportunities in drone technology and discussions on the development of a “low-altitude smart network.” Major companies, including those from Mainland China, will participate, providing insights and strategies to advance this emergent industry both locally and regionally. The technology-driven economy will also be discussed alongside the low-altitude economy on the first day, with a significant conference being held to foster collaborative discussion. The second day will turn its attention to AI and robotics, with government representatives introducing financial support schemes specifically designed to help small and medium enterprises (SMEs). These sessions will emphasize collaboration between local SMEs and large enterprises from Mainland China, showcasing the potential of integrating AI in various applications, including wearable technology. Key innovative projects, such as the “Tumbler Inspection Ball” used in tunnel inspections, will be highlighted as examples of the real-world impact of technological advancements. Promoting global collaboration, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) is reaching out to industry, academia, and governmental representatives worldwide to attend the fair. Besides the core events, additional seminars and symposiums will provide networking opportunities and share insights on emerging trends within the tech industry, ultimately reinforcing Hong Kong's commitment to enhancing its status as an international innovation and technology hub.
