LeBron James intervenes as fan is ejected at Lakers vs Suns game

On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers played against the Phoenix Suns in a preseason game held in the United States. The game featured a historic moment as LeBron James played alongside his son, Bronny James, marking the first father-son duo in NBA history. However, the game took an unexpected turn when a fan created a disturbance by shooting a loose ball from behind the basket, which failed to clear the backboard and bounced back into the crowd. As the situation escalated, security attempted to remove the unruly fan, who refused to leave his seat, leading to a chorus of boos from the crowd. LeBron James, sitting on the Lakers bench, found humor in the situation and joined in the calls for the fan's ejection, playfully gesturing for security to take action. His antics were echoed by Suns star Kevin Durant, who also joked about the situation. Eventually, six security guards were required to escort the fan out of the arena, much to the delight of the crowd, who cheered as he was removed. Despite the disruption, LeBron managed to score 19 points in just 16 minutes of play before sitting out the second half. The Lakers ultimately lost the game 118-114, continuing their winless preseason. Bronny James made his NBA debut in the game, playing 13 minutes but failing to score. The Lakers are expected to have Bronny play most of his rookie season with their G League affiliate as they prepare for the official campaign starting on October 26.
