Story

A Colorado CEO, Lucas N. Kalisher, has been charged with assault following an incident at an In-N-Out restaurant in Loveland, where he allegedly strangled a 15-year-old boy. The Loveland Police Department responded to reports of a fight at the fast-food establishment, where a group of teenagers was reportedly playing around and splashing water on each other. During this playful exchange, a nearby customer was inadvertently splashed, prompting the teen to approach the woman’s table to apologize. Witnesses reported that an adult male accompanying the woman reacted aggressively, grabbing the teenager and forcefully pulling him down to the table before throwing him to the floor. Kalisher, 55, left the scene prior to police arrival but later turned himself in after being identified through witness accounts and surveillance footage. He faces serious charges, including felony second-degree strangulation and misdemeanor child abuse. Kalisher, who is the CEO of Summit Source Funding LLC based in the Denver area, was arraigned on the charges on Wednesday. The Loveland Police Department expressed gratitude for the community's assistance in the investigation, highlighting the importance of public cooperation in such cases. Police Chief Tim Doran emphasized the department's commitment to community engagement, stating that the incident exemplifies their vision of unity between the police and the community they serve.
