Claive outlines ambitious plan to transform AI privacy standards

On January 14, 2025, Secret Network unveiled its roadmap for Claive, a Decentralized Confidential Computing project aimed at enhancing privacy in artificial intelligence. The roadmap lays out a structured approach to building upon foundational technologies, with an emphasis on securely protecting sensitive data. The introduction of initial AI models is slated for the same period, further driving experimentation and development. Looking ahead to the second half of 2025, Claive plans to focus on expanding its capabilities by introducing new functionalities such as Confidential Agents. These will allow developers to implement secure AI agents within Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), which are crucial for maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. A Worker Management Portal is also in development to facilitate infrastructure providers in registering and managing their Workers, thus enhancing operational efficiency. By the fourth quarter of 2025 and beyond, Claive anticipates launching advanced features designed to ensure economic sustainability in its ecosystem. This includes Confidential Shared Vector Storage for private Retrieval-Augmented Generation workflows and enhanced SDKs to aid in constructing and managing Confidential Agents. Claive's partnership with Secret Network is aimed at setting new standards for privacy and security in the AI space, which is essential as artificial intelligence increasingly intersects with confidential computing practices.
